More Than a Feeling

1 John 4:4-8

When there is no authority, you become your own authority.

The worst person to be in authority over me, is me.

The reverence of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

God can only be as much God as you let Him be God.

Jesus equates faith with authority.

Love is not an emotion; love is not a feeling. Do not mistake your feelings for God’s voice and love.

God doesn’t describe himself as deliverance, miracles, or power. He describes himself as love; God is love.

The hardest thing for us to allow is to be loved.

Height, depth, breadth == three dimensions == volume

The love of God is not something you feel, but something you know.

Your feelings are NOT God’s voice.

God’s emotions and feelings are absolute. The love of God is full and complete.

You can never be in more authority than you are submitted under.

The moment there is no king, everyone does what they think is right.

“In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” Judges 21:25

You don’t know the truth until you know what God says.

Not every spirit is of God.
The most dangerous lies in your life are the ones closest to the actual truth, but are not. Those that the enemy can filter through your experiences.

Have feelings; do not let the feelings have, move, or control you.
Authority is a weapon. It is dangerous to walk in authority and immature. You must be submitted under one with the authority under God.

“Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.” Galatians 4:1-2
