Be Made Whole, part II

Scriptures

John 5:2-15

Notes

Nothing else makes a person feel broken more than feeling like your window of opportunity has closed or passed by.
Some people feel like they missed their time; others feel like they missed their turn.

There is no a finite amount of blessing. Another’s blessing does not remove blessing or blessing potential from you.

The thief comes for everybody. Nothing makes you exempt.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

Obedience is better than sacrifice. Your obedience is not necessarily someone else’s. Everyone’s obedience and requirement are different.

‘So Samuel said: “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.’ 1 Samuel 15:22

There is a difference between being healed and being whole.
You can be healed without being returned to 100%. Such as breaking a leg, being healed, yet left with a limp.
Healing is about the symptom; whole is about the source.

You must realize that everybody has an issue. You will not make it through life without an issue.

Those at the pool of Bethesda all recognize they had an issue.

Every road to destiny goes through the neighborhood of thieves.
Those who have nothing worth stealing are not afraid of thieves.

Stop learning to live your half life.

The Levite and the Priest were not equipped to handle the situation like the Good Samaritan did.

You don’t come to church to find perfection. It is the place to receive wholeness from brokenness and issues.

The pool has five porches, one for each of the five issues:

  • impotence: those who have equipment but lack the strength to do it.
  • blindness: the inability to see and perceive correctly.
  • halt: paralyzed ; something that came in your life and keeps you from moving on.
  • withered: something that was functioning has dried up.
  • waiting: what if what you’ve been waiting for is waiting on you?

It didn’t matter the issue, the same thing fixed and made whole all.

Do you want to be healed? Will you be made whole?

There’s nothing more frightening to the enemy than you being and living whole.

Jesus did not come to fix your symptoms.

When you decide to get up and do, He will enable you.
You have to participate in your miracle.
God will always ask you to do that which you think you cannot do.

God doesn’t want your will broken; He wants to heal it and make it whole.

Whole is restitution. It is more than healed. Whole is when the issue never occurred.
